Noted, but he'd still be 70 odd points behind Vettel if it wasn't for Vettel's stupid mistakes. Kimi's a more careful racer maybe but is certainly not faster as he had shown all year, regardless of accusations of sabotage by the team. Basically, we have a compromised driver line up: an old guy who's slow and a not-as- old guy who's cracking under pressure or thinks he can do stupid things on the track with impunity. As Arrivabene seemed to imply in his comments to Sky today, they don't really care what Vettel thinks about who they choose as his teammate. Too bad they didn't have the guts to get RIC now and bring in LEC after letting Vettel's contract run its course.
+7. It would be a good FU to Ferrari for replacing him with LEC. LEC will be a top driver, but like Max, needs time and maturity.
Agree with the above. And sitting in the second Ferrari next year is not the ideal place to become mature / take the time to get the experience he needs imo. Oh well, hopefully he will wreck into the Mercedes at least when he wrecks.
Enough with Kimi posts the only reason why we are getting them cause of a recent performance. He's only been performing in the latter races he has been much lacking in the much earlier s3 with the whole memes. F1 is a team sport and while I like Kimi I just think all the spite on Ferrari cause of favorites of Seb over Kimi is disgusting. Look who's higher points? Seb. Jeering cause Ferrari didn't give Kimi a chance plainly Germany with extended radio showed they did just that Worried over Ham pace in the rain. They have given him chances but he hasn't fully taken them. He is capable driver, but he cannot take fully advantage of the chances it is given to him recent performance has showed he can, but it is really too late. I believe Ferrari toke the right choice with Seb in advantages just that recent Mistakes by more of the team than just Seb have made more of a moutain than it should be.
