Actually, it's their new Spec 3 engine which is 35 more hp than the Spec 2 surpassing Renault's claimed 950hp. Honda now with the Spec 3 is at 965hp.
They’re not that malicious, just close them and don’t follow the update requests until you get to the video. Otherwise I think totalsportek doesn’t have the pop ups
As @furoni mentioned, ever since they left Mclaren they have been improving this whole year; getting ready for RedBull next year.
upgrade engine bits automatically means taking a new engine thing so hence the penalties, so on paper it looks a lot worse...better to keep bringing parts and take the penalties to be ready for next season. I believe if Honda is within 20hp of ferrari/Mercedes they are racing for the title.
I would like to see them competitive, and I understand the strategy. I was reading about their development and one of the engineers was happy with where they were going, but lamented that it took them so many engines to get there.
Fingers crossed they get it right for next season. Would be great to have the red bulls in the fight.
Well why not. A competitive Max (not convinced on Gasly myself, IMO he's there to play 2nd fiddle) will certainly disrupt Lewis a lot. Anyone to dethrone Mercedes IMO.
