Still confused on the ICE rule re: Honda taking out the Spec 3 and using the Spec 2 only to use the Spec 3 at Suzuka and the drivers still take a penalty at Sochi???
I'm guessing, the motor was installed and used, so that goes towards their ICE count. Get the penalty now, then you're good to go at Suzuka.
Sky also said something was not in compliance with the motor, so it couldn't be used at this track. Not sure what it was.
What's with the Ferrari team! Let Seb out when Ric and Hartley are on track, then let Seb out again and the pit lane closes.
Is Ferrari using a Magic 8 ball for their strategy? Stevie Wonder, Ray Charles and Andrea Bocelli could do a better job.
The regulations states that if you use a new PU in a practise session and do not use it in the race, that you cannot use more than one component of the new PU. This prevents warehousing like Mercedes did a couple of years ago. Thus, Honda will use the ICE at Suzuka and not the turbo, MGU-H or MGU-K--which will get fitted from earlier PUs. It is just bad wording of a questionable regulation.
