Will Ferrari figure out what happened to Leclerc's car during qualifying? Will he start from the pitlane? Can Sainz hold on to his position throughtout the race? Will Ferrari strategy factor into the equation? Can Perez make it to the top 5 after the race? Can Alonso get his car in the top 5 after the race? If Sanz ends 2nd or 3rd, I’ll see the upgrades as a great success. I don’t see catching Red Bull as realistic for anyone.
Leclerc's car update this morning. Charles Leclerc will start today's race from the pit lane, according to Ferrari's Jock Clear: "We've taken the opportunity to change the gearbox, that's effectively all the backend, really to make sure there's nothing on there that is untoward." Charles Leclerc will start from the pitlane today. He wasn't happy with the car yesterday so the team has changed his gearbox and hence whole rear end. Other spec changes, presumably to give him more chance to overtake, have also been made.
Hoping Sainz crashes out and causes SC that helps Leclerc move up positions. Yes, gotten to that point, the toxic fans Sainz has always pop up 1-2 times a season when Leclerc's car is broken, and then they are quiet rest of the year with their man snailing in 5th place.
They had to try something. I still think it was tires / related to that. He didnt appear to have shifing and or rear brake issues. Maybe this will improve his ability to over take and gain some points.
Finally Russell states his state of mind in F1 lol Russell “lost and confused” as Mercedes hampered by F1 bouncing George Russell admitted that he was “lost and confused” in qualifying for the Formula 1 Spanish GP after a change of set-up before the session failed to pay off.
You're literally begging for Sainz to crash so that Leclerc can get ahead. Any links for something similar from sainz fans here?
I am happier to see RB and Max successes than I was when Mercedes/Toto and Lulu were dominant....there...I said it !
This should be an eventfull race, with rain, driving from the end...i was gonna skip it, but i always find a reason to come back...unless Charles strugles from the beggining, in trhat case i will pass......as for sainz, maybe he can grab the podium becaus eof the rain, this will help with tire degradation for sure, because in dry weather, Ferrari wouldn't stand a chance on thsi track...
