So it looks like some drivers will be in a conundrum IF they reach SQ3 for tomorrow......according to the rules regarding tires. According to the rules, SQ1 and SQ2 will only require medium tires. SQ3 will require softs. (rules stated below) No new softs left for Norris or Tsunoda after today(Friday), which means if either of them reach SQ3 in the Sprint Shootout they can’t run - the rules mandate a new set of softs for that session Image Unavailable, Please Login
It's a gamble, but Norris and Tsunoda can afford to sit out Q3 tomorrow. They are not likely to reach it anyway. But they may create a precedent, and other drivers could follow for other sprint shoot-out in future if they see a benefit in that strategy.
Im confused The line up or grid positions for Sunday's race was decided in today's quali correct? if so why would Lecrerc ( pole sitter) risk a crash to gain a few points on this silly sprint race and maybe pay a huge price of not racing on Sunday ? Im confused...
This entire race weekend was organized by a bunch of drunks. And the more they drank the more they kept writing more rules. I think the entire grid should not partake in the shoot outs and sprint race and save their cars for sunday.
So IF a car shunts it and some cars go over the debris field, can those cars change their tires to avoid a POSSIBLE puncture?
Is there a free streaming service that works, seems all of the old ones I have no longer stream live.
