Formula 1 badging

All recent F1 cars have circular red/white "E" and "N" badges. I'm guessing the E is the electrical cutoff, but what does the N stand for? Fuel? I've wondered this for years, but never could get a solid answer from anyone.

Actually, I was referring to the circular red "N" just in front of the steering wheel on the chassis. It should be visible in the other pics too. ~ 3-4 inches in diameter.

The "N" symbol

9.2 Clutch control :
All cars must be fitted with a means of disengaging the clutch for
a minimum of fifteen minutes in the event of the car coming to
rest with the engine stopped. This system must be in working
order throughout the Event even if the main hydraulic, pneumatic
or electrical systems on the car have failed.
In order that the driver or a marshal may activate the system in
less than five seconds, the switch or button which operates it
must :
- face upwards and be positioned on the survival cell no
more than 150mm from the car centre line ;
- be designed in order that a marshal is unable to
accidentally re-engage the clutch ;
- be less than 150mm from the front of the cockpit opening ;
- be marked with a letter "N" in red inside a white circle of at
least 50mm diameter with a red edge.

The "E" symbol

14.1 Fire extinguishers :
14.1.8 Any triggering system having its own source of energy is
permitted, provided it is possible to operate all
extinguishers should the main electrical circuits of the
car fail.
The driver must be able to trigger the extinguishing
system manually when seated normally with his safety
belts fastened and the steering wheel in place.
Furthermore, a means of triggering from the outside
must be combined with the circuit breaker switch
described in Article 14.2.2. It must be marked with a
letter "E" in red inside a white circle of at least 100mm
diameter with a red edge.
