Great job by Leclerc for that last stint; just a reminder that he had 10 laps older tires than anyone else, except Verstappen (still couple of laps older than even Max's). Not impressed by Sainz attitude today, first the moaning to get let by Leclerc at the early part. And behold, he actually didn't have any more pace compared to Charles. He was dropped from Leclerc's drs before first pits. Then he gets lucky along the McLaren drivers with safety car (Leclerc and Verstappen being the losers of that situation); but proceeds to have a rage drive against Piastri. There was nothing wrong with Piastri's defence when Sainz had to cut corner. But this guy goes on some Karen rant on teamradio about demanding McLaren gives him the place...I mean c'mon. On top of that his "pass" on Oscar was clumsy as heck, it was Sainz who lost grip on his rear and destroyed Piastri's wing (btw Sainz is under investigation for it still). And what caused all this red mist? Because he saw a golden opportunity with his tire advantage to luck out ahead of Charles in this race. But like often, he melted like a Spanish tortilla when the pressure was on.
Best race I've seen this season. Congrats to Nando and Charles and I think Lewis did well too. Oh and K-Mag needs to be dragged behind a truck.
just wonderful! such a load off his back for Lando - the first of many, and his friend Max gracious and congratulatory

was about to jokingly say: Breaking!!!::: FIA determine safety car picked up incorrect leader "We just thought it was Max by default...." Penalizing Lando 50 seconds, handing win to max. sjd
If the safety car deployed cleanly, where would Lando have been after pitting? He could have probably passed VER and LEC pretty easily on track with the fresh tires. Others, too, if it were needed, maybe?
