Actually, I have yet to meet a German I didn't like. I've long liked Vettel, but my wife hadn't until very recently when he appeared on TopGear and was very personable/likeable in the interviews. All the best, Andrew.
What I am saying is that he has been on the upward track. Things are always groovy when the future is bright and you are young. Lets see his personality when the world hands him a bucket.
I guess the last race was hard to get by as there were a lot of weather changes throughout the race and it was just up to the driver who had the best timing with pit stops and position in track.
Yeah, he's a great guy and seems quite nice but I'm fed up with the Ks. Enough already. I've never enjoyed a year when one team dominated, including Ferrari.
I've been trying to figure out what "the Ks" is/are for quite some time and am stumped... a little help? All the best, Andrew.
Wed love an all-in-one extinquisher! Unfortunately we dont have a selection to choose from, we go with whatever weve got at hand and hope the thing works when asked. Having your back to traffic while trackside is a generally all around bad move, but the rest of it seemed to go as well as you can expect something unexpected to go. Id rather spend a lap or two dealing with an incident under local yellow than have a SC session. When the SCs on course seems theres either cars warming tires a few feet from you or theyre at speed catching up to the pack. Perhaps there was a bit of shuffling, but between wrestling the pin off the bottle while taking glances at traffic while trying to see what the fires up to, it can get a bit busy for those few seconds!
I take it to mean Wins. also used in baseball for strikes (?). Not a baseball fan since my son got out.
Firstly, thanks for the comments from someone who's "been there, done that" - Nice to have the opinion of someone other than the peanut gallery..... I'm no extinguisher guru, but do know there's no such thing as an "all-in-one" - All depends (as you obviously know) on what it is you're trying to extinguish...... Then the problem becomes, *what* is actually burning? I suspect gas is a very different challenge to Li-ion batteries for example. Incidentally, does anyone know if he fired the onboard system? [Do they even still carry their own bottles?] Hmmm - Very insightful comment, thanks! Cheers, Ian
Wooooah. Hold on a sec. Lets look deeper into these "facts" 1) He didn't win in a Minardi (which is considered a back of the field car) he won in a car that was mid field that season and was designed by Adrian Newey. They were constantly in the points that season. He was in a decent car. It would be like Reno or Merc winning a race this season with some luck plus freaky weather on their side it would be possible. 2) He might of won the 1st RBR race but the car was already developed for Webber/DC. He just happened to arrive in the team at the right time. He did nothing to transform RB to a winning team. Webber/DC put the hard work to get RB into a winning team. It's exactly like Lewis, they didn't develop the car for Lewis he was just given a sweet ride and he was able to exploit that to the full. Much different to MS and Alonso situation. Ditto he needs to post more often
Simon, your theory proves correct again. This is getting very frustrating for us Webber fans!! WHY CANT HE START A RACE !!!!!!
Weird, hey? I watched the in car footage from a couple of cars, they were all holding at approx 14000rpm like Webber was, but his was the only one that bogged down and went "backwards". Very odd indeed.
If you look at the replay he was actually just above 12000rpm. The issue isn't how he starts, which you can see is normal, it's the clutch friction/bite point the computer sets on his out lap. For whatever reason it's picking a lower rpm. [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-VmJKmHXCyE[/ame] I uploaded a dial for reference. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Looked like he was at 14000 until he let go of the clutch. that's the difference...his died, no one else's did.
oh yeahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.....sorry. He's just a dumbass then I should offer to take over from him
Almost hope he doesnt get pole anymore to avoid embarrassing himself off the start! We'll see how he goes rest of season. Maybe a "Webber's starts are a joke" thread to keep tabs on this
