Good drive from Max. It was a historic season. It may be another 25 years before we witness records being broken again. Highlights was obviously Hamilton breaking records, Gasly & Perez win, and Hamilton winning on 3 tires.
McLaren - with the allegedly infamous Renault engine - beats Racing Point, the "official" Mercedes B-team. Next year will probably be without surprise again for the first places (Mercedes and Hamilton winners...) but there may be some fight for the next ones: will Red Bull still be unchallenged as 2nd with its Honda engine? will Aston Martin, McLaren (switching to Mercedes engines) and/or Renault up their games? (for Ferrari, I guess there is not much hope...)
Listening to the SKY announcers make excuse after excuse the last 5 laps for Mercedes made me mute the TV. Geeze.
Congrats to Max for a superb performance. That's about all the positive I can say about a race that was as fascinating as watching paint dry. Bring on 2021!
Was that Seb telling Leclerc, "Get near me and I'll punt you into the stands"? No useful team orders when one driver is gone.
There had to be something off with Leclerc's car, if he couldn't get around Kimi. Ferrari successfully pulled both cars to the back, to avoid gaining points. Prize for "worst pit wall decisions of the year" to Ferrari. If the 2020 season was a wine, it'd have a screw cap.
Absolutely. The clown team at it's best performance all year long: Safety car and everybody gets a free tire change. Except Ferrari. Hello! McFly!?
Nice job by Max, McLaren and Ricciardo. 6 Flags over Abu Dhabi is the worst track in F1 and has no business on the schedule, Tilke really dropped the ball on this one. Hoping for a more competitive year next year and in 2022 when the regulations finally change. Good riddance 2020.
LOLOLO, THE CLOWN sTROLLER is so useless he managed single handed to lose 3rd place in the constructors championship, what a loser..what a waste of seat!..oh, and nice covid excuse from elton to skip a race and drive like a granny...
A brand new simulator will save us next year, Oh wait ! we will need almost five years of fine tuning to sort it out ..
From a Ferrari perspective yes. Might even be a wine in a cardboard container. But as F1 season this was absolutely fantastic: So many new venues, back to back racing, some really good races and lots of drama. Liberty pulled a magic rabbit out of the hat when so many other sports were simply not happening. Looking forward to get this season DVD and watch it again, so many great moments. And hopefully some of the new venues will make it onto the calendar going forward.
Carlos Sainz Jr has been cleared of any wrongdoing following an investigation into potentially driving too slowly in the Formula 1 pitlane during the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.
You are not vindictive, finally few things are enough for your happiness, which is a great strength I confess.
MB tends to do this, turn the wick down let another team win and thus avoid any talk about big changes needed by pointing to the last race that Red Bull won. Then they talk about how close it will be next year and if they will be able to beat Red Bull? Looks like PR play to me, MB will come back next season and crush the field for an 8th year without any changes to F1. Rinse and Repeat
If Honda do not increase power and do so ensuring reliability - yes. Mercedes are not at fault. Ferrari feel confident in their new engine. We hope the chassis and aero are able to use the power.
