Congrats to the Max fans. I’m speechless at what just happened…either there is the lap to allow drivers to unlap themselves or you start as is. Horner was able to push Masi in a matter of seconds to reverse the latter and basically get the best of both situations by only allowing the lapped cars between Hamilton and Verstappen to unlap, the rest started as is.

 

Hence the gift this was a controversial decision to say the least.

Winter practice will be interesting to see if Mercedes still has the top car , will Russell challenge Hamilton or will we have a new playing field? That is what my Interests are now

Funny how people complaining about Masi at the start are praising him at the end and vice versa. It’s almost like he and the stewards apply the rules fairly all the time and peoples view is skewed by driver bias

 

That was a lot of pressure on Masi… he showed his limits many times this year. I expect him gone next year, no one was really happy with him

Agree, but i thibnk he is, you will see when he has the right car, sainz won't even see him!...but tio be honest, i thibnk carlos is better than many think, including me.

 

Dont worry....Hamilton is finished.....Never was the best driver and it was proven that the car was the winner especially when George drove it like a champ last year in the race where Lewis was out with covid. Its too obvious what F1 has been doing and tried to do again today.

Well you follow F1 so you haven't seen real racing for a while so I forgive you...let's see how this played out. Before the loser Williams driver crashed, Lewis had a 10+ second lead on Max after racing through lapped traffic (4 cars) that was between the two. After your WWE stewards got involved, the 10 second lead was erased, the lap traffic didn't have to be raced through, and the second place car got fresh tires without the time penalty a pit stop gives. So now you consider that real racing? LOL. Once the two lined up for the restart it was obvious the car with new tires would win. Not a race. A decision by F1 to make more money.
