thats cool. just seems to me he was past his time and a bit of ******. i get that he was "from the old era" and that had a redeeming effect on his character and he was hugely important to F1 being as big as it is now but I am happy he is no longer around
Well....I always was under the impression that, under his "tough businessman image" he was a great sentimentalist after all; don't get me wrong, I know that to him a dollar was a dollar, but that he loved this sport nevertheless. Whereas his successors, well... Again, time waits for no-one, I know: he will be 88 at the end of the year, so time it was indeed. But in his heydays, Bernie WAS formula One. Heck, he invented it, didn't he? Is it working better since they sidelined him? I'm not so sure. Rgds
Blistering on the US vs the Softs for Mercedes. Vettel’s long run times are pretty positive on the ultrasofts. Consistent and good. Lewis stopped his long run on the ultras after 3 laps. Red Bull had problems with them too Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Max states there will not be a Red Bull win here. I think Ferrari are close with Mercedes perhaps in front slightly. The kerbs are an issue for all. Id rather not see a Mercedes 1 and 2 but if so Bottas in P1 Tires are an issue for Mercedes with under-steer being noted. Possibly too close to call but I think a Ferrari win with Vettel.
yep...maybe for this race only. If deemed "illegal" then by next race the "support" structures will be gone; kinda like with Ferrari's winglets on the mirrors via halo.
What gets me is that when Ferrari did it, it was a grey area. Since then it's been clarified. They can't be allowed to keep it. Simple as that.
So finally Ferrari stated that the emperor is nude. I think most if not all the cars have some sort of aero stuff attached to the mirrors.
Weren't you just saying I had fish memory or something in another thread because I said Mercedes was gaining momentum? Lol
