It's simple really...Red Bull has been going 1 car in front the other follows (constantly) at alternating weekends since DC/Webber era. Discussed every single weekend.

Danni Ric turn this weekend, and as you heard clearly on the radio, he didn't even want to do another lap because he couldn't get on with the car this weekend. So that goes against the team anyways. Max didn't want to overtake him and subsequently give him a tow, because quite simply you'll get into the same thing every single weekend. It's much easier to do it at alternating weekends instead.

Ric was upset, I get it, especially after not gelling with the car all weekend. **** happens. Yesterday before the race the problem was solved and Ricci realized he was wrong.

 

Your points are all valid. I don't think all of the criticism is simply about Lewis at this point. The secondary battle that still exists on F-Chat means you're either on one end of the spectrum or the other (for the participants in the battle). There really is no in-between.

Merc did screw up for a second time this season with the missed VSC call...I can understand that frustration and the anger it produced. But I also can appreciate that Hamilton walked it back and focused more on the team (everyone in a team will make mistakes, drivers included). Heat of the battle it's tough to keep a cool head when things go wrong, but you need to be able to move on without vilifying the folks you depend on.

 

Darn it I missed the race, anyway to see a replay with out paying for some app?
