Not surprised. LH has sub-par weekends at times, but with each at their best he’s clearly the superior driver.

I was looking at a LOT of oversteer from that car throughout the sessions. They didn’t really show either final run but Merc seemed to work it out for Q3.

 

It has just started to rain at Circuit de Catalunya-Barcelona....

 

That french interviewer at the end is painful. Who is he sleeping with to get that job?

 

I think he's Italian. Not that it makes him any less painful . . . .

 

He is so bad it is almost funny, I actually enjoy it in small doses as the driver’s really don’t say anything and he is so terrible it is uncomfortable for them. I really regret Kimi did not make the top 3, the interview from Davide coupled with Kimi’s monotone one word answers could have been epic.

 

Objectively Bottas has been the better Mercedes driver and would have the only win as LH has stated and well knows. How little you post about actual racing pace and that has been better for Bottas. In fact you post very little given how poorly LH has done and in the press its been noted widely how well Bottas is doing. Hero worship is a sickness you should cure. Good luck!

Ferrari clearly the fastest car once again, with regular tyres this would have been an easy pole.
Too bad that FIA decided that this week end all the teams must run with specific Merced.., err Pirelli tyres.

 

I take it you did'nt watch the first race where Hamilton's win was taken away by the vsc. Bottas is driving good i know that, no problem. I worship no human, but i am a fan of LH and Massa. Now HATING a driver which i see a lot of, is a sickiness. Hate only hurts the consumer.

 

The Ferraris better be careful - Verstappen is lurking right behind.

And as usual this year, a significant performance gap between the top 3 teams and all the rest.
