Well haven't things changed since yesterday. Lewis at the back of the grid. Williams driver on pole(first time since 2004?) can he turn it into a win? Alonso 2nd Webber looking good for another 4th place The weather could be a factor for today's race as well!! Only 3hrs 20mins to go! Forza Ferrari! Forza Webber! Sky coverage is on now, the BBC coverage usually starts 1hr before the race. http://www.vipbox.tv/watch/48943/1/f1-spanish-grand-prix-race-live-stream-online.html http://www.vipbox.tv/watch/48943/3/f1-spanish-grand-prix-race-live-stream-online.html
Only 2 winners on this track out of a lot of starts were not starting on the front row. I'm going to come out and say today they'll make it 3. The Williams is on par with Ferrari speed wise, also during the race. The lotus seems quicker with the race pace, so I'm hoping for a Kimi win. I think Alonso can make a podium, but don't rule out Vettel and the Mercedes duo either, and of course Grosjean. Alonso will beat Maldonado due to experience, unless Williams really has made a huge jump in performance.
Good morning Gentlemen. Happy to have a race starting at 7:30 am local so I actually slept in. I need to see another miracle so come on Alonso!!!!
Thanks Speedster for the links and good morning to the usual suspects. Kind of wondering if the GP2 boys up front will tangle early and if we'll see softshoe Perez buzzing Fred once again for the win..... Love the continued resurgence of midfielders in the fray. Great stuff......
This one is up in the air. SO many have the pace to be a threat to the front 2. Great season so far!!!
Lewis wont see much of him today the way it looks. Lotus is the threat over the length of the race with their actual race pace.
Well anything is possible. There 3 great starters next to Pastor. I have a feeling it will be a Lotus or Ferrari in the lead at turn 1. LH must get up past Bruno Senna early on and then he runs into more capable runners further up. That and all the traffic and potential for contact in the back surely will be something LH has to contend with. He has his work cut out for himself.
It's all going to be down to tyres today, will the weather stay cooler, if so, they may last better. Hope to see Ferrari maintain position with alonso, my guess is the renaults will challenge, not sure anyone else has any better race pace. Through free practice, we were as good as most of the rest or thereabouts
Bernie: "I'd like to see the Williams win and I think it will be quite difficult for those (McHam) at the back". Brundle: "I think the Lotus will win". Haug: "Our cars will be better suited for Monaco and Montreal"..
I think the Lotus will be as strong if not stronger there. They seem to have a car that works well in most conditions thus far.
