Chin up for Lance. At least he knows his wealth expands nicely over time. Somehow, he finds the strength to cope with his situation you note above. Certain 'Drive to Survive' will provide us an in-depth view of his turbulent world eh lol!!
Perez lacks 2 things overall - Saturday qualifying pace Being closer to Max in race pace Bottas seems a touch better in both. I think Perez is now improving both. For the year Bottas is the better wingman and has been facing unreliability and team direction that has made it worse for him this year. Multiple PU replacements etc. After the summer break at one point Bottas had scored more points than any other driver. Not something we see from Perez.
No way. RB is clearly the best car. Fchat has been experts on identifying the best car in the past. Lets not play dumb now. RB is best car. RB works on all tracks. Mercedes was nearly midfiled on earlier street circuits. Also bad in traffic.
Lewis works on all tracks, hence the 7 titles - the car in his hands has a slight edge. I told yall. You might as well stop before you start. It aint gonna work with me.
Bottas was never close to win a race with a pure midfield car on merit. Perez was able to do this in Malaysia 2012.
Agreed. Lewis out in front, Max reels Lewis in or stays 2 to 3 seconds behind. Max out in front, Lewis cannot keep up. Note: the RB16b can go on a longer stint than the W12 given the tire degradation.
Amazing race by Max easily controlling the MB duo despite yet another front row lockout by them. Took them at the start and they had nothing to stop him. Max would be up big time in points but not for the Baku tire failure, Hammy crashing him out at Silverstone and Bottas bowling out both RBs in Hungary. Still one dnf and FIA/MB meddling can change everything….
Hamilton's body language post race said it all, he took awhile to compose himself before exiting the car. His comments about Checo and Bottas were unkind and unsportsmanlike IMO.
And RedBull would be up big time in the WCC points total. Currently, RedBull trails by 1 point in the WCC behind Mercedes.
Exactly. Bottas at least can beat Hamilton on Saturday, once in a while. Perez will never beat Verstappen.
What midfield car you are talking about? The most fair way to compare them is to see how they did against their respective team mates.
I don't think that Max grasped exactly what had transpired between Yuki and Checo? Yuki tried to do the right thing. There is a difference between remarks made in the heat of the moment and those made post-race when cooler heads(should) prevail.
Here we go! Lol. If Hamilton could get the previlegdes and passes as Max does......wow Is Lewis whining in the heat of the moment?
Sauber. Indeed the most fair way to compare them is against their teammates. I consider Max 2 or 3 tenths quicker per lap compared with Lewis now. This is the main reason gap is so huge with Perez, Albon, Gasly etc …
A dumb comment by Max, but Lewis calling for respect amongst drivers then subsequently insulting Perez at his home race is even dumber. Max is still young but he doesn’t have a “Sir” in front of his name-Lewis is experienced enough to know better.
You think calling some one a dumb idiot sounds more respectful than what Lewis said? Lol. Don't find excuses for Max. Go back and look through this thread. Hardly a mention of Max's radio messege behavior around here. But Hamilton is the hyprocrite.
As opposed to most drivers giving the bird to one another.....c'mon.....spare me the formalities. Everyone on the track expresses their frustrations in one form or the other....however you may think they should really act.
Yes, but beating max is far more difficult than beating Elton, and i suspect the Red Bull is a lot more edgier car to drive, while the merc it's easyer to get used to.
I think that is pretty much how it is currently. Can change circuit-to-circuit, but even at the USGP, it was clear the Merc couldn't shake the RB16b. Yesterday, it was no contest.
That's what all of the reports are. It's pretty much built to deliver a WDC to Max. It's interesting that his driving style is so unique vs other drivers. However, it's obviously effective.
