You know me, I like simple! Hamilton has more records than Max or Schumacher. Simple as that.

    This !!!! ^^^^^^

Is why we love Max and think LH is a pretender to the crown, Hamilton has never seen a bad car and would cry mercilessly if he was in the bottom half of the grid

+1. That has always been my issue with his career. Best car every year and in the worst case, the second best.

    Okay gents, I'm back.

Kept up with any F1 stuff, particularly from Brazil, but not a whole lot out there except for what happened at Vegas with Lewis and Checo doing donuts.

Regarding the article I just posted, I thought Kravitz made his "perceived bias against Max" at COTA2022 in Kravitz's notebook? (I posted a video of it on the COTA Race thread) but the article stated the MexicanGP?(hmmmmm).

Sky Sports' F1 director to visit Red Bull's factory today to clear the air after their boycott of the broadcaster at the Mexican Grand Prix over perceived bias against Max Verstappen

I couldn't suppress my OCD any longer, and made up the table below to compare Max' and Lewis' F1 achievements at the same age (i.e. at Max' age "as of today"). Very very impressive stats. I mean, the guy is already competing in his eighth (!!) season of F1 and he's just turned 25.

I really hope he sticks around for a good while. He's spoken openly about he's open post 2028, wanting to do a lot of other type of racing. I hope F1 listens, not just for Max but other drivers, to plan certain events a bit better (i.e. Indy-Monaco clash, Le Mans clashing very often). Max to Ferrari at one point I'd absolutely love to see, especially if Ferrari remains without titles (god forbid etc).

FChat would literally explode IF Max went to Ferrari and turned the Scuderia around into a WDC title team.

Reminiscent of 1999 thru 2004 days.

The "Lewis Hamilton needs more respect" thread would add another 200 pages.

No no no.......don't want to go there.

It is more likely that if Max went to Ferrari that he would have seen his last WDC.

The only way Ferrari can be successful is if someone like Verstappen came along, and brought his own people with him. Schumacher style.

Leclerc and Sainz are both great drivers, so if Ferrari had its house in order there is no doubt either of them can win the titles. The house however is on fire and everyone is oblivious to that it seems. No one of significant worth at Red Bull is jumping ship for a while yet, unless Max would go and take them with him.

I doubt anything of note will happen before 2028 but if Ferrari remains without serious championship challenges till then I can see it happen, with the largest F1 contract ever by a significant margin.

Max in his Ferrari overalls and with uncle Michael.

Adrian is known for his like of challenges. He's been close to coming to Ferrari 3x. He's also raced Ferrari's in his private life...Newey to Ferrari with Max and winning another title would extend his legacy to the highest of praises.

So LH fault for being in the right team early and for the Director of Mclaren placing him in the seat?? He did what as a good driver? He began to provide
    R E S U L T S!!!!!!!!!!!

So lack of a bad car indicts his credibility? Cry? He's been in a sad car this year compared to RedBull. Some not great finishes and struggles yet he as a good and accomplished driver has accepted the challenge and gotten the MOST OUT OF IT! LOL :) Yes so unworthy. I would never say that about a champion. Of all the title of recent years Kimi's was the most lacking. He had to drive to win it but Mclaren had to make mistakes to lose mostly. Least dominating etc etc. He is still a title winner and deservedly.

Is that really your take on what he said? Come on.

Of course it's not Hamilton's fault he's sat in great cars his entire career. Any driver would take that opportunity. But you have to be realistic as well, being sat in the a race winning capable car your entire career does help the statistics compared to those that had spend time in backmarkers.

His current race car is no slower than any car Max had from 2016-2020 compared to the Mercedes. Zero wins and being beaten by his new teammate.
