    The top players all have used supersofts so I don't think that strategy will work. I am sure others, like Bas, who are far more knowledgeable than me will grace us with their expert opinions.

    Yep, start on the SS then change to softs. The SF71-H manages the the tires way better than the Mercs.....especially the softs(+10 laps). Mercedes will probably opt for the mediums after the SS at the start.

    Mercedes has had problems with blistering in almost every race this season.

    yep, that's the Merc's achilles heel. Last race(Spa) they used bespoke rims to put more heat into the tires. I got lazy and did'nt check their rims for Monza but I will look at the rims today (Mercedes).
