But they had to let the German car win in Germany, and didn't take the win from the Italian car in Italy.

They'll have to DQ half the field to let Haas win in Austin. :D

How good is he? The car is 90% of the equation these days according to Fchatt

A car has to be good overall to aim at the championship, not just fast on some circuits.
In recent years, only Mercedes managed that, and neither Red Bull nor Ferrari have matched that versatility yet.
But surely they will be catching; both Ferrari and Honda engines are on a par with MB power already.
Now it's their chassis and aero that need some work to deliver regular performances, and not sporadic wins.

    Don’t bully fchat please :) :)

The difference is, young fella, that Leclerc is outperforming the car, whereas Elton just drives his perfect machine. One shows class, the other is crass

By the way, I’m not bullying you, please feel free to read my posts and have a warm fuzzy feeling in your belly. :) ;)

PS. I PMd you earlier, care to respond, or is silence proof of a guilty feeling Karim?

Forza Ferrari..... the only racing team and car marque that matters. Italia forever It’s easier to apologise than it is to ask permission

Absotively. Holding off attacks by two different Mercs, Leclerc showed talent worthy of a seasoned veteran.

A very impressive performance by the young driver.

Great race by Charles. He was under constant Mercedes pressure but didn't make any critical mistakes (unlike his teammate). Charles also showed his teeth with his aggressive defense. Good call on the warning flag, let the drivers race wheel to wheel without contact.

Another mental collapse for Vettel, truly sad to watch him get lapped by his teammate. Monza and Canada show how far he has fallen from his prime.

Drivers get old. Reflexes change. Reaction slows. Young lions feast.

Hamilton will stay until he can no longer win. That will happen eventually

First I spotted Leclerc's opaco Pista Spider,
then I spotted himself in the podium!
    Photos are mine.
Great result and now counting 50% victories of my Monza GP attendances (2006,2010,2019).

In this thread it was a recap of great driving by Charles. In the other thread it was a recap of Hamilton whining about great driving and tactics by Charles.

Ermm... This one was a recap from official F1 youtube channel of a great battle at Monza, for the pleasure of all F1 fans who watch this thread.
IIRC you started another thread where the same battle was essential to the topic.
So I don't seem to see your problem. I think not everybody reads both threads and if you watched that recap here or there, you don't have to watch it again. But what does feel better on Earth than Ferrari's win on Monza? Ask yourself.

    Cheers,

It was enjoyable to watch a fight on track for the win, twice as good when Ferrari wins. If this was bicycle racing, HAM would just sit back and be more than happy to finish 2nd or 3rd every race and be a champ, so I can give him credit going for the win, but, the move on LeClerc that has been discussed would have been a great way to DNF, I just think he went for a gap (before a chicane) that wasn't there.

Really? Send them again, or if you like, send them via a mod to make sure they get to me, I’m always happy to respond, even to those that seek to hide behind PMs and posts on Facebook. You have never written to me, although I do have you on ignore most of the time, so maybe that stops you bothering me with PMs. Please also show me my posts that ‘claim not to have received them’, as I can’t remember you ever stating you had sent anything, and as we all know, if you claim anything on here and someone doesn’t agree, it is totally acceptable to ask you to prove your surmise or you would be branded a liar, which would be unfortunate, much like I had to prove I have cancer to satisfy ridiculous questions.

I really look forward to seeing these PMs, however, if they do not exist, or did not happen, then please note that I feel threatened by these bullying posts of yourself and ktu, it’s so terrifying :) :)

If you have someone on ignore, you will not receive their PMs when they try to send them.
