    Bottas and Schumacher both suffered an MGU K issue. They where both running Ferrari's new unit.

    They will switch back to MGU K "1" for the next session and likely take their 3rd for quali.

    This is really worrying.

    So far we have at least 3 confirmed Ferrari MGU K failures of the new spec. I believe Zhou also had his fail in Spain. Bottas FP1 Spain I don't know what it was...

    It's called pushing the limits. I would rather have them experience a few failures while improving the performance than being conservative and being mid-pack at best.

    Of course...and it's better to have the issues in practice. So far 3x the same failure, possibly 5...if they're all identical that means identifying the problem is easier than 5 different ones.
