Pretty shocking! I figured them behind RB and Merc.

    NEW TRACK RECORD

Seems like Merc had problems with tires the entire 3 sessions

Why does this always happen to Kimi??

Surely his luck will change soon.

He always locks up that right front, its becoming his trademark, but seems he has accomplished a lot with this style lol

Pole position and and a breakdown without leaving the pit lane. What should I think about the new engine?

Anyway, tomorrow it´s going to be a though race, with the tyre degradation issues, safety cars and whatever.

Maybe Haas' fault. You don't know. And it may be a leaking turbo and not the engine....

Well, the engine crew at Haas are Ferrari guys so not a good sign anyway. But I agree in that it seemed human error: the engine blew right after being fired.

Yah that's very weird. Could be some mistake on start up or cool down.

    One thing interesting.

Did you notice that when the Ferrari's go into the pits they immediately put on this battery powered blowers into the engine compartment and the brakes? RB does not do this.

    Hmmm...

They must be running harder. The blowers must be for cooling. Anyway I am petty much not happy that was too close against Merc. The new engine could easily could of given Ham pole. Let's see if Ferrari can win this.

Always fun at Montreal! Compared to F1, the cars look enormous. The action at the hairpin is always hot and heavy, with as much "rubbing" as at a NASCAR race! It seems that every time I was there, one car would be heavily wrecked and another would catch fire.

Seb truly earned his money today...the car was great and he drove it perfectly...a very good job from the Ferrari team. All indications are he should have a very good race and pick up 25 points. I won't mind seeing Hamilton finish where he starts. I hope Max doesn't blow it and take out Seb at the first corner. Sadly I don't think Kimi will be much help unless he can make a great start and protect Seb going into turn 1. He should have qualified higher. But with a good start from Seb...and a clean run through the first turn, we should all have an enjoyable race.

Kimi was on it all day but made a mistake at the end of Q3
Don't count him out yet. They might put him on a different strategy and help Seb win
