Yes, this Leclerc pole signals a mixed blessing for the team. Hopefully they can distance themselves from the battle with Lewis to allow them to race. Teammates stealing points from one another is something Merc doesn’t have to worry about. Plenty of time to get this sorted and actually, it’s nice we’re contemplating this may be a concern.

So annoying having Hamilton crash Leclercs first pole interview like that. Then standing super close to Seb during his... Everything's gotta be about him it seems.

Absolutely. How nice to even think Ferrari have this problem after Australia.

This will be an interesting year for Vettel and how he handles the pressure of a new teammate.

Who says he is missing McLaren.:D. He is obviously missing Ferrari's driver's seat looking at what a freshman Leclerc achieved having a good car. IMO Nando was a better Ferrari driver than Vettel.

If Leclerc (l'eclair -> lightening) keeps this up Ferrari won't have to worry about team orders (they they would only privilege Seb at the start of the season) and drivers stealing points from each other - just ensure Vettel steals points from Mercs.

We finally have a star driver so we can compare the relative performance of the car with respect to the opposition. Imagine if it was still VET and RAI, at best you'd say Ferrari are even or only .030 ahead instead of being .300 ahead in the hands of a proper driver.

MB aren't sandbagging. They get 3 engines, so there's no point in pushing them 100% until they have to.

I have no doubt in my mind that if Fernando was in last year's Ferrari, he would've clinched it for us. But as the age-old adage goes, "woulda, coulda, shoulda".

https://www.f1technical.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=27993&start=375 Seb had hit traffic q3 so had only time for 1 lap in q3 so Ferratic antics again. So overall Great one still just that we need to make sure no drama to secure a 1-2 I prefer Seb go first cause to stop drama, but a 1-2 in regardless would be perfectly fine. Hope and please Mattia Bintto don't screw this. I want Ferrari to do well. *looks at Monza*.

Yeah, I was there, hopes dashed on lap 1.
1st priority is both runnimng cars 1&2 after the first lap.
Other than not crashing into one another no team orders I hope.

Congratulations to the engineering team behind the SF90, Binotto still sensibley tight lipped about the why we are back on pre -season testing pace.

Good to see Mr Cammileri there too, I treasure the letter he wrote to my wife when she purchased her new car.

    FORZA !

So on one side with have a "god given talent" and on the other side an "average", "overrated" "cracking under pressure" "past his sell-by date" driver who managed with one shot to get the car in row 1 after he got screwed for the second time by his strategy department with only one race and two qualies done.... now that is what I call cracking under pressure ;)
This forum is hillarious: two weeks ago we saw the end of the world when half the posters wanted to stop watching F1 and now that Charles got pole once the usual Seb-bashing starts... why don´t you guys not simply wait for a few races before you make your mind
