Merc faster on Meds than everyone on softs…although we haven’t seen everything depending on engine modes.
Maybe this wasn't even a corner station, but there's some kind of white flag there, oh well, Mazespin cockpit view right before the gravel Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
https://www.autosport.com/f1/news/why-verstappens-subdued-dutch-gp-practice-times-hide-a-major-shot-at-a-famous-home-win/6659714/ While Verstappen’s race runs make for ominous reading, they arrive at a venue where overtaking opportunities are at a premium for what is predicted to be a largely follow-the-leader-style affair. If you were being uncharitable, the prediction might be for a 72-lap repeat of processional events at Spa. Only this time, they would be conceived naturally. As a result, most, including Ferrari, were targeting the one-lap glory as the key to unlocking the weekend. The Scuderia’s sporting director Laurent Mekies explained: “I don’t think the lap times are telling everything from today. “We have spent a lot of time on trying to prepare qualifying, because we think it’s going to be very difficult to overtake, and we want to spend more time working on the car for quali.
I don't think Alpine will be as strong come Quali, they always do really light fuel runs on Fridays. The Ferrari pace though seems legit good, if the car is even close to RB or Merc, Charles' can put it on pole. Don't have to worry too much about long runs, Q seems like everything here. Hoping for a podium for a red car.
Agreed on all fronts. The Ferrari is a very odd car. It's either ****ing rapid at tracks no one expects at, or absolutely nowhere....bizarre to say the least!
Wait........What???? Verstappen to report to stewards for overtaking under red flag in FP2 Image Unavailable, Please Login
After more than half a season the Scuderia still doesn't know its own car. They have no idea how to manage it. It seems to come as a complete surprise that they are suddenly fastest.... Beit on Friday. Italian, passionate, and full of coincidences, that's the 2021 Ferrari F1. It's like nothing changed in 50 years. When was their last WDC? 2007, right. Ridiculous.
Hopefully that’ll pass through w/o a warning. Saw the clip, the car he passed was on a slow lap or giving way and Max slowed immediately when he saw the light but remained ahead of the car he just passed. C’mon Danny360, let it go. .
