The race starts in a few hours' time. It may be the last GP on this famous circuit. Worth watching, IMO.
Love to watch but in the UK; so it’s only on as highlights at 23:00 tonight or ££££ to sky!!! Whilst some of the races are undoubtedly dull, always liked the excuse to sit on the sofa Sunday afternoons! Whether they sort coverage out here who knows, I doubt Liberty care enough to do anything.
Bruno Senna takes his uncle's 1988 MP4/4 for a drive........"Ole.....Ole..Ole....Ole.." Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Coverage starts at 10:30 AM CST, which is 35 minutes from now, on ESPN2 (Chanel 25 on Spectrum). Guinness is cold, baby.
The Interlagos circuit at Sao Paulo is obsolete apparently. We don't see much of the decay on TV, and it looks fine. The new president Bolsonaro wants the next Brazilian GP to be held at a new circuit at Rio de Janeiro, yet to be built !!! They say they can build the new circuit in 7 months ....
Not being much of a Senna "the person" fan, 'does cause tears for the loss of such a great talent. (and McLaren in one of it's heydays)(speak of the devil, nice little piece on SKY just now)
I have been a long time Senna critic myself, so no emotion from me . But it feels different for the people who are going to watch the GP with me - some still worship him. Yes, that was an era when my favourite team McLaren was very much at the crest of a wave. I hope they will come back good in 2021, with a Mercedes engine. But this is another story ...
My wife has Sunday off for the first time in ages, so I get to watch this race live. Here we go! All the best, Andrew.
I think we'll be going for the overcut on both cars. The Mercs might go for the undercut. All the best, Andrew.
