With the number of GPs on the calendar, I feel some saturation now, after more than 6 decades of following F1. Sad to say, but a GP isn't anything special to me any more: there are too many of them. I only watch highlights on Youtube nowadays; that's enough for me to keep in touch.
Completely agree. Back then 15 races is perfect. You finish the season in October, and then it's really hard time to go through, with excitement building up over Christmas, pre season tests after that and then launches of actual cars. Now, i just feel like puking when it comes to F1. Too much show and drama. Not connecting to the fans at all. and almost weekly races. Sickening. I'm towards the very end of being an F1 fan. i think i'll be done within this next 2 years.
This ! During eighties a Gp was something really special with a lot of drama because of the rarity. 24 gps/year are way too much.
If Leclerc / Ferrari pit wall had had the sense not to wreck the mediums pointlessly attacking Russell early stint, potentially would have been Leclerc challenging at the end for p2. Instead we get this mouth and a lack of action to correct what he see's as a wrong and pass Sainz. Want to change something - Take Action.
Lately, I’ve been feeling fatigued at the end of each season and miss races because I have a hard time caring. Each race counts for less now and I’m becoming sick of all the personalities.
yup.. And not as if there was a title to be won, either. Whether charles or carlos finishes ahead of the other, they would make exactly the same points, and Charles was out of the WDC already. And literally no one gives a **** about 2nd in the WDC.
I guess he really cares about either the podium or the runner up title. Better than not giving a ****, I suppose.
same. I didn't even bother waking up in time for this race and plenty of others. Everyone in F1 is a ''brand'' now. The cars are not exciting, thus my excitement isn't all there. Simple really.
Well, I think nobody would complain about too many races if the races were good. We had many bad races in the past but any poison is more tolerable in small doses.
Except a few people on this board who were quite happy that Charles beat Perez in the last race of 2022 to wrest 2nd away from Perez
Unbelievable: the slipstream made Gasly's Alpine self-destruct!(Not his fault) - Lap 13 (Reference) - Lap 14 (Failure) He got a strong tow from TSU, reaching 361km/h under DRS: the engine reached 12937rpm in 8th gear, then exploded! (Speed dropping, no power afterwards) The gear ratios are fixed for all tracks: Alpine's last gear is short, and the engine couldn't resist the resulting high rpm (and the hot air from TSU's car didn't help either) Image Unavailable, Please Login Tweet— Twitter API (@user) date
