Yes when things are going well he keeps things in check, but when they're not we see and hear the real Max.

I mean he wasn't wrong, the strategy was crap but I rather enjoyed the meltdown. I also a max fan, so take that what it's worth

it was fun! RB needs the meltdown, too stuck on their laurels, not reacting to moving performance targets [McC], and carrying a driving cripple [i happen be badly crippled so i can use this word, I use it for myself all the time], instead having 2 legs to stand on as horner finally said....

i still don't understand why they instructed Norris to let Piastri (?) overtake.

not his problem fault that they screwed up the pitting

    doesn't norris needs those points?

He wasn't wrong though. The strategy RB gave him was ****ing awful. The RB hasn't been fastest since Miami, yet this was the first race that Max lost points in the championship. He's been carrying that team ever since Miami.

GP and Max bicker like an old married couple but GP was actually quite bad on Sunday. He should've told Max that Norris didn't shove him out the way but had Piastri on his inside, that's why Max had to go wide...Max was driving angry because he thought he had to give up the position after being forced off.

GP further failed in managing Max's anger throughout the race.

Max has said it before a few years ago, he demands perfection and the team expects perfection from him (meaning results). Max delivers time and time again. RB has failed quite often this year.

No question that the strategy was rubbish, but airing those views over the radio is just unprofessional and feeding the other teams. Max really needs to keep his anger in chack as it leads to foolhardy manouvers as was evidenced with him and Lewis.

Kravitz being a biased Kravitz.....yet again.

"They calling it a racing incident, which is what Red Bull do when it's Max Verstappen's fault. But everyone else is calling it Max Verstappen's fault" Ted ignores the fact that his idol Lewis, stated right after the race that it was a racing incident, just like the stewards did. The biggest joke is Ted's claim that Lewis did not steer into Max. That just shows how biased he is.

Kretin Kravitz like Cretin Croft is a mongoloid attempting to cover a race with a massive, insurmountable Lewee/Brit bias, and no f1 brains. I am so glad to be rid of those two on f1.tv, although Palmer can go brit at any time, his understanding is better.

Verstappen is being delusional. Obviously he has been running alone for too long and has forgotten how strategy works: you either cover the undercut or stay out and overtake with fresh tyres. He didn't know that he wasn't racing the McLarens anymore, and the strategy would have worked if he hadn't screwed the overtake with fresh tyres part.

They basically do the commentary for a British audience.
I am sure the Italian commentators do the same for an Italian audience.
The French for a French audience, etc, etc ...

That should be obvious to anyone watching by now with SKY predominant for years. I think SKY should be a bit more savvy and utterly realize they are on a GLOBAL stage and reduce the bias that is apparent at times.

The "problem" they should consider is that, worldwide, many people (pretend to) speak English... so that many non British people watch sky. Obviously the French do not have this problem, since only French people would watch French Channels (Canadian would watch US, and Swiss would watch German ;))

You are telling me that SKY is victim of its own success ? :p

In sports in general, commentators usually are bias towards their own nationals because that's what's expected of them.
Their core audience wants to hear about "their" favourites, not praises about some foreigners.
I remember Murray Walker getting some stick from British fans, for spending too much time talking about Schumacher !!!
Those Brits tuning to the BBC to watch a GP, didn't want to listen to that !! They wanted to hear about Hill and Mansell ...

It's depressing the amount of racism that's around sport - if you like motorsport surely you should enjoy a good performance whatever nationality the driver is? Or are you just incapable of separating one from the other?

But then what do I know? I don't even understand why people get dressed up in team uniforms like they are getting a wage from the team or something. Maybe it's just my age.

I agree 100%. When I started attending GPs in the 60s, there was hardly anyone wearing team apparel, and the atmosphere among spectators was far more friendly. 20 years later, teams supporters started to dress in team "uniforms", mostly the tifosi, and at some places had to be segregated from the rest of the crowd. Now it's the "Orange army" that creates chaos sometimes and try to intimidate other fans. People have turned F1 into political rallyes; that's crazy to me. Fanaticism has invaded the sport now. Why ???
