First win at Suzuka from row 2.
Damn. All Vettel did by his jump start was handing over the race win and WCC win to Mercedes. He must be really "happy" to score more points than Charles in Suzuka. I wish we get rid of Vettel as soon as possible.
Stupidity run amok at the FIA. Does Max only want to bang wheels with the Ferraris? He accuses CLC of driving into him but seems to forget that he drove into CLC earlier for a win...
If Ferrari hadn't pitted Charles to try for fast lap (which didn't work, in traffic), they could have swallowed a 20 sec penalty.
Charles was only in that position because he tried to hold position on Seb. (Team orders, or fear of Seb doing something stupid at turn 1?)
Lol. Wouldn’t have been this way if we’d had liberal in season testing-gaps would be much tighter but MB plus Pirelli plus testing ban make it easy for whomever drives for the MB.
The fact that Hammy on fresher tires in a car faster than Seb’s couldn’t Pass him shows everything that’s wrong with F1 today....
That's an amusing excuse that it's Seb's fault because he didn't put Charles in prime position even though Charles should've backed off knowing Max was on the outside next to him and the rules wouldn't let him force Max to drive off the track.
I rather think that Vettel's false start compressed the field in an unusual way at the first corners. Bottas is smiling at the loser in Ferrari
It's not like Leclerc did that on purpose. He lost air over the front wing. Yes, it should be a penalty -- 5 sec, if they're at all consistent. (But then, they'd have to put a penalty on Perez or Gasley, too.) But Charles should have gone ahead of Seb, once it was clear Seb wasn't off the line properly. Then he wouldn't have been caught by Max at all (who was on row *3*, after all). Stewards were getting more realistic about race dynamics, in the last few races. There's only so much the designers can do to repeal the laws of physics.
