BOT up there in 6th.
Button was the only one on Sky who dared blame HAM for the clash with Max last year. Watching him with Brundle on the side of the track in P2 when Brundle said something like “that’s the most stable we’ve seen HAM or Merc” and Button just smiled looking straight into the camera as if saying yes, yes, that’s all that matters isn’t it.
Perez "miles off" in F1 British GP practice due to aero issue Sergio Perez conceded his Red Bull was "miles off" after a low-key Friday practice ahead of Formula 1's British Grand Prix, after he was plagued by a suspected aerodynamic issue.
There will be adjustments this evening as data is assessed with the upgrades for teams who have them. I still think RedBull are sorted and will work to optimize their cars. Ferrari the same. Mercedes made a minor step possibly. I still think its RedBull a touch over Ferrari yet. Of course Prac 3 will yield more for us. Id like to think Ferrari have advantage, but the RedBull just has no real obvious weakness inherent.
Leclerc had some "PU related" problems in FP2; one of the reasons why he couldnt make the car work on soft tyres. It's probably the old first engine he is using on Fridays; but he really could finally catch a break. Atleast the race pace on mediums was good. Hopefully smooth sailing from here till the end of the race, if that happens I know he will win.
I genuinely don't understand why Karun is hated so much. Very knowledgeable in the sport especially the history of mid 90s to now.
I didn’t get the same feeling for RB today that they had in Montreal, they were dialed there, but it could be the wind. MB near the top of fp2, I’m sure the press will run that through the wringer of MB back to challenge for the title
I loved it when he said earlier about bringing back the V10's and have them run on bio-fuels AND to reduce the weight down to 600kg instead of the current 800kg these cars weigh. No one agreed with him.
Feedback is they are still bouncing a lot. I would be a bit surprised the RB is not really well sorted this weekend.
I don't get it either. I like Karun a lot. His commentary is always top notch. I'd love it if they just had Jenson, Nico, him and di Resta do all of the commentary
