    I think lap 3 is a bit early. Several races when he's started further down this year he takes his time now...times the overtakes well to minimize the risk. Unfortunately this is a side effect from him knowing he doesn't have to really worry about anyone truly running away and build a sizeable gap.

    1. Only exciting part of the race is that Max starts 6th, from what we have seen in the sprint ,he is 0.5 sec a lap faster than his closest competitor, barring an accident , he should be in the lead by 4 to 6 laps and drive in to the sunset .winning by 20 seconds or more . The. battle behind him should be good , hopefully not a snooze fest

    Thanks much. I couldn't tell from my Tivo whether they would the usual 1 hour drivel ahead of the race. Looks like they do. Something else to skip.
