Hatred has to run very deep for that take

“It meant a lot to me,” Hadjar revealed. “He knew exactly how I was feeling, how depressed I was, and he came to me at my worst moment.”

Prost certainly did it on that day! I remember watching on TV, the Ferrari slowly slidding on the grassy slope, and Alain unable to do anything about it. It certainly didn't impress the tifosi on that day, and even less the Scuderia management.

I prefer to think it was the spontaneous gesture of a generous man.
Do you have to analyse it so negatively ?

I really hope that the cars fault is something that is not intrinsic to the design now. Maybe just understanding the new front end./

Uncovered: The MCL39 damage that explains late Verstappen attack

—One issue we had in the final laps of the race with Lando is that he had the floor pretty badly damaged, so he lost — I haven’t heard the numbers yet, but he lost aerodynamic performance, and this meant he couldn’t utilize the full pace of the car,” Stella explained.

“So I think the situation got more tense than would have normally been the case because of this damage on Lando’s car. I think how strong the car was we could see actually with Oscar, that in the space of a few laps he recovered three, four positions.

“I think in normal circumstances, it shouldn’t have been that difficult for Lando.”—

No hatred here. He's 20. Had he been 30 he would have told the guy to mind his own business and stop acting as an unsolicited angel because nobody believes he is. Cameras are there and he shows up unsolicited. A matter of knowing his bio.

Because he's 20, confronted with the question he has no other graceful exit out of it than acting grateful after a meeting with team´s PR.

You would prefer a romantic and disinterested view? Sure, why not? I won’t be judging anyone having a different view, that IS judgemental and negative.

Too many variables in the wet-dry-wet race, multiple safety cars. Can't really know for sure!

You can quote me in August, but I trust the SF drivers, I dont trust the SF cars, and I trust the least the SF team, even with Fred at the helm. Hope I am dead wrong.

A crash for the Stroller would have taken him to 5 minutes dedicated coverage. I think he prefers zero.

Not everyone is as self confident as you’d like them to be. This is his first race. He binned it at turn 2 of the warm up lap. In front of the eyes of the world. He’s not stroll - he has to make his career path on merit. It’s going to feel like a total disaster to the kid. At times like this, what Hamilton Snr did was spot on. The team need the kid to know it’s not the end of the world. Simple as that.

Yep and his manager or someone might have wanted to spend a bit of time with him given he was out of the race so early as he walked back. Hamilton Snr did the job for them. Well done Id say and that does not apply to the team at all.

True. You could see that max was having to drive the wheels off the RB to stay anywhere near the McLarens. He was forced to over drive it the entire race. Considering how on the edge he was, his result is nothing short of remarkable. He’s a total monster in any conditions - wet or dry.

Just because his personality isn’t very endearing to some, doesn’t mean he’s not exceptional as an F1 driver.

Surprised that niether of the Mclarens buckled under the pressure of Max for awhile....well except when both went off track and costing Piastri lose positions.

    Love that!

Carlos will be missed for sure, but I LOVE that Williams is heading in the right direction, giving both him and Albon a proper chance at good points.
