This would be a fun point to debate. If Mr. Perez didn't treat his race car like a Cry Slur minivan driver does in a Costco parking lot, Powered by Honda could have had 2 drivers on the podium. Then we get to debate if one or both of the undamaged Ferraris could have finished in front of Mr. Hamilton.
Up to the last minute Perez will still say, to anyone who cares to listen, that he has the full support from Horner and Marko !!!
Yes, the Killer instinct will suddenly make his Ferrari go faster 1sec per lap and stop degradind tyres at a slower rate than other cars, it will also make the guys in the pits start making all the right strategies, preventing Stroller to take him out and all the other things....
Alonso humiliated by another driver for the first time during his career in Formula One. I wouldn’t want to see this frankly..
agree on that...2nd was absolutely the maximum possible today, If Perez didn't damage him and if the red flag didn't appear. He drove a great race, still a podium which is not a shameful result at all. And seriously...between 2nd and 3rd, it doesn't really matter does it? It's a podium. Only the win is more important.
Although discrete, i actually think he did a great race, because even if the damage seemed minor, he surely lost something or they wouldn't have bothered to change it, so the fact that he was still faster than carlos tels me something about his driving...a bit like Silvertsone last year.
I'm so ready for the season to be over with. Sergio needs to go. Ric needs to stay at Alpha (my God please bring to RB), Logan needs to go... it's probably time for Stroll as well. I just want to some fresh blood on the grid.
It’s due to the car and he’s not going to chew through tires and risk compromising his race in a futile attempt to get results that just are not there to get.
He gives us the misleading feeling that achieving this is easy while this is absolutely a performance to reach this level lap after lap. An all time great.
It's 22 pole positions. Out of those 22, he's won 4 races from pole.....so in essence, he's got 18 pole positions WITHOUT winning from pole.
