    So “qualifying” in three hours is for the sprint race, and “sprint qualifying” is the sprint race, which is qualifying for the Sunday Grand Prix. Am I right?

    Wow…the RBR is 1.5+ secs clear of Merc. I’ve been saying it for a while, but it should be super clear that this year is over.

    Yep thinks that's right. Given that they decided the not-qualifying-but-not-the-qualifying-session at 3 am here will give it a miss. Will try and catch it when I wake up

    Max is already faster than the lap record and we’re in FP1. He looks like he can take it into the 1:26’s whenever he feels like it. They will put on a show the rest of this season.

    that said, I have a feeling RBR will go 1-2 in qualifying,

    Max deservedly won last handful of GP's, (well, a small hand :D) , that were in favour of the RBR/Max comb, but if he can win Silverstone, Hamilton should really start to worry for this year's WDC.
