Are we about to witness a psuedo-Spygate 2.0 between RedBull and Aston Martin???
I think we'll see leclerc pole again. Sainz should be able to lock out the front row for Ferrari unless Max can do something special...
I'm not so sure about Carlos unfortunately. Being consistently 2-3 tenths off Lec is a bit worrying; he really needs to outqualify Max, since I think RB are on backfoot in Q
If Sainz fails to outqualify max, or worse, by the Mercs even, unfortunately he'll relegate himself to default number 2 at Ferrari for the rest of the season.
No spygate: 7 RB engineers left RB for AM last fall. No surprise the new Aston Martin looks like a RB. Knowledge transfer is legal (assuming no physical plans were shared).
Kind of hoping Sainz comes through for us here at home without the usual drama that seems to surround his drives. Per Practice 3, the Mercs are indeed quick (here only, hopefully) and I don’t want to see him stuck behind Checo, ‘Faster than Goat’ and ‘The Night’s Watch’ in the race. This should be our track for a 1-2 quali. Hope Carlos finds inspiration from the fans and pushes Charles for P1.
Possibly.....but in today's world, everything is digitized.......a mass storage unit can hold terabytes of information and is about the size of a galaxy Note 8 phone. One can easily download info and store it.
No need to find further explanation. The Aston Martin Mercedes two years ago was an illegal car. The Aston Martin Red Bull is another one. Just imagine the Haas with Ferrari sidepods.. What people would say about this ?
Some reports say that Ferrari was running engine lower than RB and Merc in FP3; if that's true front row lockout is not out of question. On another note the soft tire race pace run the red cars did in FP3 was really good, so looking positive for the race in that regard.
