    Merc had to push today to test the new engine. No reason for Ferrari to try and match, rather work on proper setup. Nothing can be said until Q3 tomorrow.

    Not a certainty, though.

    "Its works cars, the Force Indias and Williamses were all fitted with new internal combustion engines, turbochargers and MGU-H components for Friday practice in France, but Mercedes would not say whether these were upgraded parts or fresh versions of the original specification."

    When the boards are updated with 2's we'll know more, but not everything.

    I think that might be wishful thinking. However, having said that, Ferrari have looked off the pace a few times this year on Friday and then looked a whole lot better on Saturday so we'll see.

    The FIA have noted that Haas F1 Team broke one of two curfew jokers last night. Haas found an issue with the MGU-H and fixed the issue.
