    10 years on, I still dislike the components system intensely.

    End of V10 era and during the V8s, it was pretty simple: X engines, go over, penalty.

    Not individual bits of the engine that all have a different measurement of how many you can have. It's unnecessarily complicated and I seriously doubt the vast majority know a) how many of each is allowed and b) how many components drivers have used without looking at a stupid chart.

    According to Will Buxton on F1tv app, Ferrari have maximized the development of this car! They get proposing over 200mph and need to back up and follow another branch of development! They are the 4th fastest car at the moment. Pecking order is:
    McLaren
    Red Bull
    Mercedes
    Ferrari

    Both drivers had different setups. Sainz had the Imola setup and aero package and Leclerc had the Barcelona setup and aero package. Yes, the porpoising is back. Ferrari is trying to find a medium between both setups.

    Sad. We're not even to the summer break and Ferrari has given up trying. The piss away hundreds of millions for Hamilton in 2025, and they don't want to spend any money fighting for this year. Meanwhile Hamilton can't keep up with Russell. I find it impossible to cheer for a team that doesn't even respect itself. Hulkenberg and Haas are at least putting out the effort. Sainz should stop being in love with himself and sign with Audi. Charles should start socking the money away because he only has one year left in the front half of the grid.
