A very "tiring" race, in more ways than one! Maybe they should hold this early in the season, possibly in tandem with Bahrain.

The whole "track limits" thing is so ****ing pathetic- It's only because everything else is so ****ing boring and automated there's nothing left for the worthless ****ing "stewards" to do but micromeasure a tire going into the corner at 150mph- It's ****ing pathetic - I have more respect for the greeter at Walmart than a ****ing F1 "steward" - Most of their decisions are complete ********- And it ruins a wonderful sport- **** all of them -

I actually thought this race was pretty good. forced 3 stops forced everyone to drive much more flat out rather than manage tyres all day.

Esteban Ocon vomited in cockpit after 15 laps of Qatar GP
    Laurence Edmondson, F1 EditorOct 8, 2023, 04:32 PM ET

Alpine driver Esteban Ocon has revealed he vomited after 15 laps of the Qatar Grand Prix but refused to give up as he battled on to finish seventh at the end of the 57-lap race.

The event took place in temperatures of over 31 degrees Celsius (88 Fahrenheit) and high levels of humidity on Sunday night.

Williams driver Logan Sargeant was forced to retire his car 17 laps before the finish after feeling unwell in the cockpit.

Sargeant was cleared by the medical team at the circuit, but was diagnosed with intense dehydration and his team said he had already felt unwell earlier in the week.

Ocon, speaking to reporters after the race, revealed he was dealing with symptoms long before the halfway point of the grand prix.

"I was feeling ill by lap 15 or 16 -- I was throwing up for two laps inside the cockpit," he said. "And then I was like, s---, that's going to be a long race.

"I don't know, I tried to calm down, I tried to remember that the mental side in sport is the strongest part of your body, and I managed to get that under control and finish the race.

Kudos for the camera to follow him to show he apologized in public. Either way I don’t see the kudos even if it wasn’t filmed.

    jaw dropping.

I believe Red bull did 1.82 before.

But this is quite amazing. The standard of everything Mclaren has done in the last few years is fantastic to see. In every single aspect they have control over they've improved.

After a stop like that, I almost expected a wheel to come flying off as he exited the pit. Good work, McLaren!

This venue should be eliminated from the schedule. Awful track, awful weather and an ugly trophy. At least the last thing is Lando proof!

It's more having to do with seasonal timing. The next time around, it will be 6 weeks later on the calender.(I believe).

I was at the race. For every lap except maybe the last two, LeClerc’s car was bottoming out on the front straight—sparks were flying. After the first lap or so, none of the other cars did that. If that slows the car a tenth of a second per lap, that is over 5 seconds for the whole race. I wonder if that is part of Ferrari’s problem with this car.

The car was a flop in various areas, they improved it, but that's all, let's hope enxt year they get it right, the operational part of the team is working a lot better this year, if they can get a decent car out, Charles will do the rest.

Yes, Hamilton would have been faster on the softs but it was the execution of 3 wide going into the first turn and it was obviously Hamiltons fault 100%.
