Nope, that's where Red Bull will be. I agree. They either know sweet **** all or are being paid talking it all up.
I haven't had anything to drink in a while, but I don't think I can endure this race without a few pints.
Genius level driver in a great car is always going to be hard to beat... Hopefully the Ferrari technical team has more resolve than some of the fans here - waving the white flag already, smh As speedcore pointed out, the gap from Hamiltonto- Vettel in qualy is almost the same margin as last season - a race Ferrari went on to win
At least i get another year where I can plan my Vegas time without worrying about whether I have to factor in watching f1, frees up more weekends for debauchery, boozing and general womanising - the wife will be pleased!
Reliable but they need power. Red Bull will need more power to compete and avoid a strong mid pack team to threaten them. Red Bull are there but hardly a threat at this circuit but without power are they a threat at all? Max will need patience for a few races.
Cheer up guys...better to start the season slow and end up being fast, then start the season fast and then fade away. Did anyone really think Mercedes was going to make it easy or that they'd suddenly forget how to build a race car? Someone earlier said it looked like the Mercedes was harder to drive...well maybe that is because they were driving it harder. They didn't inherit the front row, they earned it. Now Ferrari has to come back and do the job it is there to do. I know most people here don't like Hamilton...but I think that if he and Vettel switched cars, Ferrari would be on the pole. Let's all just suck it up and see this through to the end.
The word genius in a post about Elton? ****ing hell, that’s a first... he’s acknowledged as being fast but very very dumb. ell,
Ferrari can challenge if they got their pitwall sorted out. Who know if the new TB can get SV in line.
https://au.motorsport.com/f1/news/pirelli-shiny-tyres-2019-changes/4339823/ The change in appearance is a consequence of Pirelli shifting its production to use a chrome mould, which has been done to help ensure its softest tyres have a better surface. Asked about the change, Pirelli's racing manager Mario Isola said: "We are using new moulds that have a chrome treatment. We tested these for the first time last year in F2. "The reason why we introduced this technology is because the hypersoft last year and the C4/C5 [softest 2019 compounds], are very sticky and, when you vulcanise and cook the tyre, it is difficult for the mould sometime. "You see small imperfections on the tread because of this adhesion between the compound and the moulds. With the new moulds, they are a lot better.
Difference: last year some people put down the gap on the "genius" of Lewis saying the difference between the cars is actually less... this year BOTH Mercedes drivers are a lot faster than BOTH Ferrari drivers so the time difference is really the car and nothing else...how does Ferrari want to make that up in the next races???
