    So Max looks to sail into the sunset and retain his P1 position.

    Can Checo get a podium finish and work his way up the grid?

    What about the Mercedes duo? Russell ahead of Hamilton for the finish?

    How is AMRF1 going to finish? Alonso another podium finish?....P2 possibly. Will Stroll finish better than P6?

    Will Ferrari keep their positions throughout the race or advance up the grid regarding race pace and strategy?

    Is there some life in the Williams? I hope so...

    Checo" comments on failed engine braking and recharging but I saw little steering with big steering input. That looks like the cause to me.

    Teds Notebook Pre-Race

    Ted showed his "unhappiness" that Masi was around the F1 paddock knowing full well Masi ran supercars at the Melbourne track.

    He also showed his concern that IF Masi came back to help F1 via Niels Wittich.

    Yeah, you get the notion Ted doesn't like Masi....boo hoo.
