Next year the gravel trap returns at eau rouge. Drivers right now take massive risk as they know there is zero time loss by going wide, so at worst they'll get their time cut. Adding a hint of gravel gives them an actual penalty for going wide.

It's going to be a painful retirement for Hamilton, Russell is going to marmalize the man and both know it. In fact I predict that Russell will go on to dominate all of them tbh.
Actually I read it already somewhere else, since you post the same message on different threads! AS for the content, it made me smile . "Marmalize", that's a new one to me.
I believe he will mate, wether we like it or not sports stars improve with every era, why would F1 be any different? Russell has been mind-blowing in qualifying in just about every session. Maybe Hamilton will give him a harder time on a Sunday until he finds his feet but I predict a painful few seasons for him.
Maybe not but getting demolished by a young charger will put an asterisk next to his achievements IMO. How can the GOAT get dethroned at the peak of his powers?
Nope. Hamilton's broken too many records. Having stats is cool, but breaking records is different, more significant historically. Kimi in the Ferrari won the championship and beat Alonso, after Schumacher failed twice. I don't think it hurt Schumi's legacy.
Bad examples mate, it can only truly count and be compared if they are sat in the same car. Schumacher was only bested by Rosberg and that's after being out of the sport for 3 seasons and coming back aged 40, you saw yourself the hell Rosberg gave Hamilton as well.
Rosberg didn't best Schumacher, he obliterated him. My examples are valid, anything can be used to degrade a champion. This is Fchat remember.
Really, I don't follow you. Every champion, in any sport, has to give up one day, retire, and be replaced by a new star. What would be different different in F1? But Hamilton's achievements, with 99 GP wins and 101 poles will be a very hard act to follow. It's not because a sport personality retires that he is "demolished", nor that his success become subject to "asteriks".
