Highlight of my day was Fred on the radio saying Lewis only knows how to start from the lead.
    I laughed out loud!!
Alonso just got 500,000 maximum fan points from me today

You were always complaining about strategy. Ha, the problem now is the car, and that´s a lot more difficult to fix than strategy.

Lewis got all hurt because Alonso called Lewis an idiot during the incident and Lewis won't apologize to the Spaniard.

    | Max on the rumoured chassis: Q: Is it coming? “Later on in the year.” Q: Will it allow a gain of up to -0.5? “I don’t know the exact number… If it works.”

Ferrari's issue today seemed to be tire deg that was higher than normal, but the bouncing also seemed to be a lot more than normal

Ferrari had alot of issues today with themselves and Leclerc.

Sainz not so much. (Santander conspiracy theory card???)

What a shameful, embarrassing time for Ferrari.

It almost feels as if F1 is now just a “gesture” on their part and they don’t really care. Maybe they need to immediately cancel all their lifestyle ******** and dump all that money and focus into F1?

How have they not fired anyone for this mess? I can’t imagine running a company putting up with such ineptitude.

Their priorities and focus are off.

Ferrari's stock: RACE is on the rise. So yes, keep the exclusive lifestyle...it's working.

Ferrari's F1 "stock" has been dismall since the start of this turbo-hybrid era(2014)...and in most years after since 2007.

Charles is going to open a hardware store, with all the screws he's been getting. ;)

That early "tear off" stop stuck him behind the DRS conga line, and put him massively behind.
He was on Max's tail until then. (And I think I saw Max slam the door on Charles early in the race, too -- although Sky was focused on the flying Ham.)

After Charles got tagged by Perez, the Ferrari was losing a second a lap, falling behind Russel.
Oddly, around that same time, Carlos seemed to lose over a half sec a lap as well.
"Plan L" -- Lose by turning the engine down to "taxicab"?

With all the classic Ferrari street cars still going strong, how is it the F1 team can't build an engine to last without turning it down to "tepid"?

All this is making me doubt whether I'd want to upgrade to a newer Ferrari street car.

I also think Max having a new PU, likely with performance upgrades, played a big role in his domination. Perez was still only 9 seconds up on Sainz.

You play both sides, Bas, I noticed. You pretend supporting Ferrari, to go with the flow.
But at the same time, you enjoy Red Bull winning.
I have no particular allegiance and simply enjoy watching a good race to see a driver winning cleanly.
Today it was Max Verstappen, and I am very happy for him.

Here's somwthing to consider: the tear off supposedly forcing LeC's early stop was probably because Lewis' car was spewing oil after slamming back down to earth...

Im in for that 'card' lol. I think Sainz is showing some competence alot of people did not think he had as they are amazed with Charles.
