I wonder if Leclerc’s tires are done - he didn’t even push ahead of Valtteri’s pit stop to try and grab 2nd

At least they aren’t having to fake their pace a la Austria.

Would be a futile attempt....and only risk his podium. Bottas on softs would be far faster and pass him very first braking zone.

Go Vettel - you can do it. Catch Kubica.

He’s always driven that way in a dogfight. Remember his clash with Webber in Hungary when both were fighting for the WDC?

I am thinking the same but would a different driver really make a meaningful difference? LeClerc driving for his life just to fend off Max last 2 GP.... our strategy and car seem not quite competitive

Ferrari should pit Vettel in the last lap to try the fastest lap point!

Get ricciardo in that seat.More consistent results and can actually overtake.

I don't like the guy (and I probably will NEVER like him) but getting the fastest lap on used hard tires... Impressive!

Did I read the driver must finish in the points to be eligible for the fastest lap point as well?

Yeah, well done. Now, do I watch him give his horribly predictable post-race interview?

For heaven's sake, no flag pole?

Did he get fastest lap at the end? So much for pitting for softs. Bottas certainly didn’t gain much from them

Good point, I forgot that rule!
So I think it's good that Ferrari let Vettel keep running after his mistake, knowing very well that Vettel won't get any point, but just to absorb that 10sec penalty. Otherwise Vettel would get grid penalty the next race.
I hope Vettel had the engine in the lowest mode after his mistake, to save the engine.

@P.Singhof: try not to rise to the bait. I suggest leaving the ignore feature in place.

@kraftwerk: 1 race ban for trolling another member.

    All the best,
