I guess it's what Liberty wants him to do, talk to people they have invited. I have seen in other series, grid commentators interview drivers, mechanics, team principals, but Brundle goes for celebrities. F1 is obsessed by these people, show biz folks, other sports stars, etc ... most of them don't have a clue.
I don't get some of the dramatics of some Ferrari fans here - including ones I respect. For all the talk of how Mercedes have such a bad car, Ferrari have a far worse situation. Binotto and Sanchez's design direction was locked in, particularly the front chassis and the push rod suspension at the front. The car is very front limited because of this, and it couldn't be fixed this year. McLaren and Aston adopted the Red Bull concept last year, and only recently have McLaren made it work. Yet, despite those factors against them, Ferrari as a team have done excellent this year. No off track drama. They've just gotten their hands, worked hard to develop the car as good as they can, and what do you know, they're the only team to have aced Red Bull this year, and they're less than 20 points behind Mercedes in a far inferior car with 2 races to go. Is 3rd where they want to be? No. But it is what it is. Vasseur has made Ferrari's race operations much better than last year, even the car itself is not great. I don't get these people still complaining about the strategy. This year it's been as good as Mercedes. Before Ferrari can maximize the fruits of a winning car, they must first learn to handle a difficult car, and suffer through it as a team. I think this year they've done a far better job at that than last year, when the race operations and off track drama were a nightmare.
People at large still dont realize what Brazilian culture is .... The several tire punctures....the National Anthem being executed as if it was a rnb pop song....the fans invading the track....its all very Latin....lack of organization as a byproduct of trying to inovate....just for the sake of being different.
Post of the day. Fred Vasseur knows what he’s doing. On top of that he’s not a liar like Binotto was. The SF23 concept is flawed compared with Red Bull or Mclaren. According to French journalist ( canal plus)people are happy now to work within the team because the atmosphere has changed. No more irrational fear to fail. Just constructive discussion between all departments. We will see with the 676 next year.
The national anthem episode before every race is just ridiculous. At least we don’t have to endure now the kneeling circus initiated by Lewis some years ago..
Lol, what is Leclerc playing second fiddle to at Ferrari? The engine software saying "no thanks", the turbos blowing up or the slow reacting strategy team? Cause it sure ain't Sainz and his mediocrity. You and everyone here know damn well why Sainz is ahead of Leclerc in the points currently and it has nothing to do with Charles. Also love the snobs here who say that we shouldn't criticize Ferrari so much. If your engine dies multiple times a season, that IS a Ferrari issue, the engineers and mechanics responsible for the PU work for Ferrari, the engine has Ferrari logo/letters proudly stamped on it. Who on earth other can you blame than Ferrari?
Don't sweat it....Trolls keep on trolling. The only ones caring about Sainz grabing more points than Charles, ate his few fans...they don't care why or the fact that it's for 6th on the table.....i don't give a rats ass if Charles finishes, 7th , 10th....i want to see him win, or at least fight for wins, the rest is irrelevant, leavind Sainz behind 1 th, or half a second is not important right now, when Ferrari has a decent car, we all know who is the one capable of fighting Max.

Well, his hero is ... Alesi. Best Ferrari driver he said. Not to worry; the guy lives in a parallel universe.
Sainz wasn't even able to start Qatar, and was caught up Piastri's mess in Spa at turn 1, so he's had his share of bad luck too. He was also on the receiving end of very questionable officiating in Australia and Austria, which also cost him a ton of points. The idea he's not ahead of Leclerc on pure merit right now is revisionist fanboy garbage, and is insulting to his hard work. Leclerc has indeed had his share of engine issues. That sometimes happens on one side at any team. He's also made a ton of mistakes. Crashing out in Australia, crashing out in Miami, impeding at Monaco, failing to reach Q2 in Spain, speeding in the pits in Hungary, and crashing out in Zandvoort cost Leclerc a good 30-40 points together. Those mistakes were totally on Leclerc, NOT the team. He's also been beaten in raw pace plenty of times this season by Sainz. We've all seen it, but only some of us have acknowledged it. Leclerc is good, but he's not the next Alonso like some of us thought he might be - at least not right now. I wanted him to be as bad as anybody else, because I do like the kid. But he's got issues with restraint and discipline in his race car, and I keep waiting for him to fix this problem for several years now, and it just hasn't happened. Part of the reason for that is smoke continues to be blown up his ass that nothing is his fault by his more unhinged fans, which is now impeding the growth that he needs to have take place as a driver if he wants to be WDC some day. If he can't beat Sainz 2 out of 3 seasons as his teammate, that's a problem for this narrative he can take down Max and Red Bull. In fact, it proves it's a wishful fantasy right now, hard as that might be for some people to accept.
To hear some people still cite strategy as the reason for Leclerc's issues is just infuriating. Ferrari's strategy has been very good this year. Race operations since Canada have actually turned around to be as good as Mercedes. That's why they were able to beat Mercedes and McLaren in Singapore on the one opportunity everyone had to beat Red Bull, but some refuse to concede that the team has made serious progress in that department, even when they bring home a win. I think some Ferrari fans just like complaining.
You're the one literally writing garbage. You just used mental gymnastics to come up issues besides Qatar for Sainz. Piastri mess lol, rather Sainz mess. And Sainz penalties were all driver errors and punished by the book. Leclerc has had more mechanical issues and strategy blunders than Sainz since they have been teammates, that is an undeniable FACT
At this point, I just want to see what both Ferrari drivers can do with a car that’s on equal footing with the Red Bull. Both Leclerc and Sainz are worthy of that opportunity.
