Oliver Bearmans long run lap times where he got faster and faster. IF only he participated in FP1 and FP2 where he had more time to learn the cars regenerative hybrid system and when to use it. His personal best time was the last lap.

That’s actually no big deal. F1 drivers try and stay in the European time zone when travelling to reduce the effects of jet lag. No idea why this is even a story.

I never understood why a man who is related to a spice girl needs another woman. Makes no sense to me.

Just a continuation of his off season. He is 110% focused on driving, driving, driving. Everything he does in the car is root memory. Driver error is the least risk of causing anything other than winning.

Wow, Bearman is excellent. He deserves a permanent F1 seat ASAP. To jump into an unfamiliar car with minimal practice for his first F1 start and be legitimately on the pace of experienced/practiced drivers in familiar tested/raced cars is truly astonishing.

The vast difference between bought seats and earned seats was pretty stark yesterday. :D

Depending on how Leclerc vs Hamilton goes over the next year or two, I can see Bearman displacing one of them... :)

    All the best,
    Andrew.

No one has an answer for this. Not anyone not any team not any system. Just give him the Trophy. Via Autosport--

--Verstappen only needed to use DRS assistance in one arena, when wresting his lead back from Norris as the Briton had assumed first place post-safety car. Norris, who hadn’t stopped while the race was neutralised, did not put up too much of a fight as his focus was on preserving his medium-compound tyres. Nor could he, as the Red Bull DRS cracked open and delivered a huge straightline speed boost into Turn 1, north of 30km/h against the DRS-less McLaren.

Before indulging in too much doomsaying, it’s probably worth seeing where the RB20 stacks up in a lower-speed environment; Monaco and Singapore were among its predecessor’s weak spots, so any carryover will be something to look out for. But at this rate, not even Perez is going to get a look in at the top step.--

Bearman, didn’t let the pressure of racing for the Scuderia get to him, nor the annoying Sainz showing up just to distract him. Also dealing with an ill-fitting seat and the discomfort and distraction that brings over a race distance. Compare with Stroller driving into the wall again.

I didn't see Sainz showing up as a negative, it looked supportive to me. Sainz is already on his way out and showing he's a team player will be comforting to Audi (if that's indeed where he's going).

    All the best,
    Andrew.

Yeah, ‘support’. Sainz just showed up to cast a shadow over the boy taking his seat. Notice it didn’t work. Also noticed who Bearman thanked for the tips, Charles and NOT Sainz.

Umm, Sainz was in the hospital and surgery while Bearman was in the practice and qualifying sessions. Did you expect him to be Facetiming with Bearman or something?

Bed is the worst place for recovering; it weakens the body.
Keeping active as much as possible if the best way to recover.

Imagine Bearman trounces 7 Time World Champion Sir Lewis Hamilton. Oh it did happen, my bad. That was inspiring to see Bearman get on with it.
