Another mistake filled weekend for Hamilton today. Is the pressure getting to him or nothing to be alarmed about? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Could be pressure, nothing new to F1 champions. The bar is set high for Hamilton, every mistake is an event.
What's in a front wing. [Scarbs] The wing is modular, the carbon aero shapes are joined with aluminium sections. Once bonded together and painted the wing looks like its made in one piece. I’m seeing shades of Schumacher 2006. Improving every season eventually is no longer possible, then there is the flip side. Still a great driver, but I’ve not seen these mistakes in the past (including running over his pit guy yesterday).
I've seen Schumacher "running over his pit guy" while at Ferrari. I posted a video of it I believe when Stroll ran over his pit guy. shumacher runs over engineer
i recall that, of course. It happens, but when you string all of the little errors together…. what year did Michael do that?
Mercedes reacting too slow. Should have called both drivers to the box one lap ealier. It was time for slicks, clearly.
Elton as made more mistakes this year than Seb on a bad year...he's just near Max by dumb luck because despite driving the faster car, he would be 50 points behind by now! Unless Toto puts a leash on George, he's gonna be trashed next year...
The last time Ferrari, Mclaren, and Williams qualified in the top 3 was 2004 in Brazil. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Never count Hamilton out unless he crashed out, or the checkered flag has waved. That said...a great Q3 and I'm looking forward to a fun race tomorrow. Mercedes still has the car to beat, but the field of drivers is giving Lewis some real competition for a change. I'd like to see Norris or Sainz take the win.
HAM mistakes plus team tires in Q3 mistake, Mercedes threw it away. I’m hoping HAM plays it safe at the start and RIC and ALO sneak past.
Curiously, Marlo and Horner have both said that Gasly doesn’t have a place at RB. It’s unclear to me whether Gasly is hoping time will change their answer or whether he’s just looking for the right opportunity. But, PG would seem to be locked out of the 2nd RB seat for now.
RBR have a lot of data on Gasly and of course the AT car itself. I'm sure the Gasly swap has been considered several times but the data must suggest not much has changed since his time at RBR and now, otherwise he'd be in that car already. I've said it several times, but who can RBR get in place of Perez that's available and an improvement? IMO Max continues to do what Schumacher did in the 90s. Doesn't matter who you put alongside him, the outcome is the same.
This is saying, among other things, that Merc went with the higher DF options for front and rear wing expecting they’d start at the front and check out from there. Starting as far back as they are, they might (hopefully) have some level of trouble overtaking. https://www.formu1a.uno/en-the-new-ferrari-power-unit-is-worth-a-gain-of-two-and-a-half-tenths-in-russia/
