stop right there... you can tell/feel the diff between the box on the 599 compared to those that came before it...what makes you think you can't tell the diff if a box shifts in 10 ms versus 100 ms??? the F2007 doesn't even shift that fast! are you saying you couldn't tell the diff between the shifts in an F-1 car and a road going Ferrari??? Ha!

intent vs execution... read what Brian wrote... it's about efficiency and the like. as for the 'smoothness' of the earlier boxes..maybe the a different driving style, experience, especially in agressive driving, or on a track, makes up for some niggles. it is a preference with the driver/owner. i'd say it's come pretty far, quite fast, given that it's a relatively new idea. every iteration, they get better and better. you can't argue that. and from what everyone is saying, the new box in the 599 is simply superb.

The fact that 0,09s is an extremely short amount of time. Hard for me to even catch on a stop watch.. And remember - I was replying to a post claiming 0,09s is A BIG difference.

Well unless someone gives me a try in both I can't tell for sure ;) I never stated a fact - just assumptions based on logical thinking.
