FORZA 2 DEMO!!!!

Damn I wanna play that! I will have to stop by EB Games next week (don't have a 360).

How do you like the demo? Care to expand on the changes?

I played it a little earlier, and to be honest, I'll stick to the Gran Turismo series.

 

I wish I had X-BOX live so I could play the demo. I guess i'll have to wait for the game to come out in June.

Looks like were gonna have some Forza Fchat action soon enough. Not gonna lie though, this game is just meant to hold me till Dirt later in June and project gotham in fall.

 

I'm not too impressed and honestly a bit disappointed. The graphics leave much to be desired compared to PGR3, and with the new graphics coming out every day for GTHD I was expecting a lot more. The physics are great not a huge improvement over the first one tho, but still a fun game can't wait for the full version to get here.

 

besides some jaggies, these graphics are just as good or better in certain areas than PGR IMO

but it is irrelevant, because until PGR or GT have damage, you cannot compare graphics. Forza gives up a huge amount of processing power for physics, customization, 60FPS and damage. Not to mention 360 calculations a second for suspension

 

Z06 and viper set the fastest times, some people are in the 56's with them.

 

Wow, I am very impressed with this game. Everything is very realistic. When you rev the engine up before the countdown, it sounds real. Especially with an Italian engine. The physics are very realistic, and you can here all of the cars racing around you and going off into the distance. Damage also sounds real, but you will only get damaged to a certain point, your car wont split in half and no frame damage. Does not really effect how your car performs. Great selection of cars, supposedly this game will going around 300+/- cars. As I said though what amazes me most is the sound and all around realism. Closest to real life by far. With racing games the more realistic the game is all around, the better the game is. Only thing as said is the display of the cars is not perfect, but not bad either. It’s just a little thing, I don’t really care about it now. The sweet sounds make up for that. I'll rate this game a 10/10. I just need to get my surround sound hooked up and it's all good.

the full game will have sim damage which will effect how you drive. Broken suspension, engines, transmissions, steering, etc

however, due to licensing they are not allowed to break apart cars
