    Hello from Germany,

can anyone share your experiences with delivery of the Forza magazine with me ?
I'm especially interested in shipping times to overseas destinations, but also in Forza customer support generally. I have complained about still waiting for issue no. 59 ( most of you US subscribers already have received no. 60, I assume ) and have just received a brief message, that they have mailed no. 59 on 10th December and foreign shipping can take up to 10 weeks.
No words about what to do, if the magazine does NOT arrive within this time.

While talking about the Forza customer support, I won't miss mentioning, that some months ago I received a totally damaged magazine ( front cover completely torn ). I complained and attached a picture showing the damaged issue. No reply at all.

Off topic, but perhaps related is the fact, that around the same time when Forza shipped my magazine no. 59, I myself despatched a book to an US ebay buyer. Delivery took unusual 7 weeks. I have had ebay transactions in the past, when my books arrived after 5 days.

Any similar experiences out there ? Are there any USPS delays these days ?

    Best Regards

    Martin

Martin, Sorry to hear of your delivery issues. I do not have delivery issues with Forza in the U.S. However, I never ship anything to my friends in Italy via USPS because they never get it. I always use DHL when sending to Italy and three days later its always there. Robert

You already stated the problem. I'll sum it up again for you USPS hahaha =)

Seriously they suck where I'm at, not sure about the rest of the country. Plus I know from my business when I ship internationally through USPS(per customer request only) it takes FOREVER. You are looking at 2 weeks minimum to ship anywhere.

I have always had the best luck with UPS. They get it there. I have never had any problems using them. Next Day, Second Day Air or Ground. I have had problems with other delivery companys and the USPS.

    hi guys,

Im in Australia, and i too read forza magazine. It come to me in the mail and im still waiting for issue 58. It takes them forever to arrive in Australia.

Iv stayed up until 1 in the morning to call them and they tell me that it has been sent out and to wait. For some reason the local newsagency gets forza before we do. I am in the same boat and i feel the pain

waiting is not the biggest problem, but they give a **** on whether the magazines arrive damaged or do not arrive at all.
I have other foreign subscriptions, especially from the UK ( Classic & Sportscar, Motorsport ) and there have been delays or losses too. But each time this happened, the 'Haymarket' people from the UK were absolutely friendly and made their best effort to get me a replacement as soon as possible.
Forza shows nothing comparable. On the other side; every year when my subscription comes close to its end, they send me a renewal advice form; if I do not reply within three weeks, I receive the next reminder. Repeated three times.

A while back I called Forza to replace an issue that was destroyed in the post. The lady who took my request was anything but friendly. However, I did receive the replacement magazine.

    Hello,

finally after 12 weeks since they put it in the mail I received the missing Forza issue NO. 59.
If you ever have any trouble with lost issues, write to the editor via the website and NOT to 'circulation'.

    Best Regards from Germany

FWIW - The US Postal Service has a "not so well known service" called Global Priority Mail that is entirely different from Global Express. The GPM actually works very well. Flat rate envelope shipping, usually 3 days to Europe from anywhere in the United States -- about 10 bucks.

I've been shipping stuff for years to Switzerland, and never had any delays or problems whatsoever.

I have found the USPS to be unreliable and at times incompetent. I rely on FedEx, UPS or DHL for shipping.
