If I post a "Slightly Non-Operable 360" on F Ads you'll know a) our efforts weren't successful b) it's from a Seattle company, not an Italian one.
By the way...IT LIVES!!! My capitalist-in-training younger son is charging his older brother $5/month for use of his xBox plus retains playing rights when available...he should have held out for $10. I'm thinking of tacking on an electricity usage surcharge.
anybody know if Forza 4 will be 3d TV enabled? edit: http://beefjack.com/news/forza-4-3d-not-suited-for-series-at-the-moment-say-turn-10/ Unfortunate...

http://www.autoblog.com/2011/09/24/forza-4-announces-indy-track-season-pass-day-one-dlc-and-demo/ Pants down and grab your ankles boys, Turn 10 is back in town. At least they are giving us fair warning before they f@$& us this time. It's going to cost me $110 on launch day, I wish i had it in me to boycott them. Demo on the 3rd is a good thing though.
A couple weeks ago I asked my local Gamestop if I could have the display and they told me to check back today. Picked it up this afternoon... Image Unavailable, Please Login
i got the demo early. gotta say there's some major improvements just about everywhere. the physics are spot on now. the sound is great but there seems to be a problem with BMW M5 F10 and the '11 WRX STI, as they sound the same. really hope that's just because this is a demo. the subary doesn't sound like a boxter at all.
With this game I finally decided I hate the MS Wheel and ended up pre-ordering the Fanatec CSR Wheel and Elite Pedals. I can't wait until I can start playing the game with a proper setup. Now do I bring my 993's seat into our loft and make a setup with that in the living room? My fiance will probably never stop making fun of me the second she sees me driving at our TV haha. It was really fun doing the timing sessions with the others on this board for Forza 3. Can't wait to do those again!!
for single race you have a 458, '11 WRX STI and a Mercury Cougar. For rivals mode you get a BMW M5 F10, a 458 and a Zonda Cinque Roadster.
I'm not convinced after playing the demo. The graphics aren't a major upgrade, the damage model seems to be a little more realistic (brushing against a wall peels away paint) and the handling still isn't as direct as GT5 (though improved over FM3). The auto-vista mode is probably awesome, but my first impression is that possibly more attention went into features like Top Gear and Autovista than into gameplay and appearance. It's only a demo, so too early to judge...
Just tried it on highest difficulty...you're right. FM3 is arcade-ish by comparison. I played it a couple of more times....I think I will like this one after all. Surprised at how much you have to fight the curves...I like that! I'm starting to think it is a step up. Graphics are better than I previously indicated. My daughters honestly asked if I was watching a race in Switzerland on television. The damage model is unforgiving though...any little scrape shows. I brushed the walls a couple of times and you can definitely see it. Warning: If you are looking for a challenging, sim-like racer, DON'T drive on med or easy.
I started downloading it last night, so I'll finish tonight hopefully and give it a bash. Got other demos to play as well though. I'm particularly looking forward to battlefield 3 demo.
I had a little go last night with the zonda cinque, I'm not fully convinced on the handling just yet, but I'll have a better go tonight and drive some different cars.
Yeah, I can't handle over hard though or else I push too hard and just keep spinning. Personally I don't feel like this track is a good indicator of the handling, I'll hold judgement until I can race on a track from FM3 and compare. I'm not a big fan of the Swiss track, way too dark.
Changed my mind, I've driven all the cars now and I'm completely sold, this game is going to be brilliant.
