    i emailed the modena motorsport people last night and this is what i received in my email today. looks like a nice restoration BUT some NO parts in engine, leather dash and ferrari emblem and horse(too bad). any thoughts???

    "Following some details for the Ferrari 246 GTS:

    The car never left France until our purchase
    Complete restoration incl. interior done by Le Coque / Paris
    Technical by Forza Automobiles / Paris
    The car is in the 4th ownership
    Steering wheel restored (the pictures shows the wheel before restoration)
    “Ferrari” emblem and the horse on the back of the car is not original.
    Price: 122.000 Euro

    your comments really drive home my thoughts on dino valuations! we have started to see a rapidly accelerating rise in prices. keep an eye on the next wave of money to invest in classic cars from the so-called emerging markets (see the Wall St. Journal last week about art prices being driven up by investors from china, russia and elsewhere).
