    You can replace the bumpers with bumpers that meet Transport Canada's standards but unless Ferrari of North America certifies the car you cannot register it in Canada. Ferrari of North America will not register the car.

    When I started looking for a 355 I tried to bring one up from the states and spoke to: Transport Canada, All three dealers in Canada and Ferrari of North America several times.

    Bottom Line: You cannot inport a 355 from the US to Canada. At least that was the case 2.5 years ago and I doubt anything has changed.

    IMO it's not worth the headaches, 79K usd = 105000.00 cdn + (6.1%) 6500.00 + 15000.00 bumpers + transport 2000.00 + misc 1500.00

    Total = 130000.00 + GST/PST = 149500.00

    There are some reasonably priced 355's in Canada at the moment. Keep in mind that the asking price is not the final price. Especially on a popular model like the 355 (lots to choose from). The price of pre-owned Ferraris has dropped drastically in the last few years, there is a large selection and a small demand. Just walk into a dealer whether is it is FoQ or the independents are name your price. Alot of these cars have been sitting there for quite while, now is the time to buy cause they don't want to have the car sitting another winter and risk of further depreciation. Or even better, look to purchase directly from owner and pay only one tax.
