Well, my AC hasn't worked very well since I got the car a few months ago so I finally decided to tackle the issue. I hooked up the gauges and found out that the pressures were getting pretty high and after reading a few threads on here I checked the condenser opening down at the front of the car. Sure enough, I couldn't feel any air flow or hear fan noise. Checked the fuse and relay and nothing seemed out of the ordinary so I jacked the car up and took the panel off.

    Behold.

Nope, it was an Oklahoma car. Very strange. I may stick one of those universal fans in there until I can track down a decent used OEM piece. 400 bucks is a little steep for a freaking electric fan.

It appears that there's a direct replacement from SPAL for around $100 or so. But the blades seem different.

New shrouds are about 50 bucks.
